Needle work -- plus

This Pulled Thread Needle case was made by Mhairi at a class in Guild as you can see in 2002, I wanted to do this class but it was full, a lot of tutors will only take a limited number in classes, I can understand that, but was disappointed.I have been hankering after doing it ever since, every time members at Guild bought out their needle cases I would mention it, so finally Mhairi has found me her pattern and I have started it.

This is stitched in Perle Cotton 12 so very fine work

Mine is being done on white Linen and in a lilac colour, now this fabric and thread was given to me a couple of years ago as a birthday gift, I am so pleased to be using it finally, I knew the perfect item to use it on would turn up sooner or later.

This is my latest pot plant it only had a couple of flowers a few days ago so it must be happy here.

Hopefully these jars will be full of Grapefriut and Lemon Marmalade by this evening.

Every thing was given to me so a bit of recycling, and I will pass back a jar when full.
