The day got worse

My day just got  worse as time passed...

The rain has continued all day and the wind has been blowing a bit of a gale
During the morning there seemed to be a commotion in the garage like cats fighting... I knew it was not my cat as he was sat beside me.. on investigation there was a cat crying from somewhere in the garage, I could not see it at all.... another cat was running away....
the crying continued and finally I realised the cat was between the wall and the siding boards..
I tried to coax it out but it was not having any of it   ...  just cried and cried... so I went away and left it to calm down.
a couple of hours later it was still behind the wall.
Having no idea how I was going to handle this I called the SPCA....
they would only come if urgent and then not before another 4 or 5 hours had passed,
they told me to demolish the garage wall from the inside with a crowbar to let it out.
Me just a mere female was not taking a crowbar to the wall

So I went back to the garage and rattled the food box .. nothing happened
I decided to play the waiting game again and finally  after about another 4 hours the cat began to climb up the wood on the inside of the wall and got right to the top and flew around the rafters as though it had been scolded, I decided to leave the doors open and go away I guess he or she has gone by now I may go and have a look.. but it was so angry and frightened that it was dangerous to be near...

The thing is they must have gone through the cat flap just installed on Monday into the garage
for my cat to use when I am  away......SO
I have decided to have an early night and start a fresh day tomorrow...

Hi Laurie,
Just browsing blogs and came across you. Made me think of our trip to New Zealand 4 years ago. We camped at Rotorua and I have and visited the hot springs. Great for inspiration for free embroidery which I will do one day!
bye for now as it is sunny here in St ives Cornwall so of for a walk.
Will be back this evening to enjoy your blog. carol
