For quite a few days we have had torrential rain in the North Island here in New Zealand.
Lots of flooding and slips causing people to have damage to their homes,
some to even lose their homes.
Sadly a beautiful lady Helen Ennor died after a few months illness on Sunday in Napier the funeral was arranged for Wednesday, Prue and I did the drive to represent our Inner Wheel of Rotary and pay our respects to Helen for all the work she had done in education, also her never ending energy she put into Inner Wheel.
The rain was torrential all the way with flooding all around us on the 3 hour journey.
We were so pleased we had gone the day before due to the rain
But the sun shone beautifully for Helen's farewell.
