At Kathryn's house the other day she had cooked a whole chicken in her slow cooker ... and it was so tender and Delicious ... I vowed to cook one the same way.It came in a "cook in bag" now I was not sure you could use this in a slow cooker so "Googled it " some said Yes, some said NO, the bag manufacturers said NO only use a slow cooker liner... I didn't know there was such a thing just goes to show you learn something new every day.

I've never tried chicken in a crock pot. Thanks for a great idea! Especially this time of year when I don't want the oven on.

Well I learned something new today to I'd never heard of a slow cooker liner till now LOl
remember the chicken must not have stuffing, otherwise the middle may not heat properly. Cook on low for 6-8 hours if fresh and cook on high for 6-8 hours if frozen
