I happened onto your blog and became interested not only in your quilting, etc. but in your husband's situation. My husband was just diagnosed with PC too. Unfortunately his prostate has perforated and spread to his bones. He is having a surgery on Thursday. It is done as an outpatient and not nearly as involved as the one your husband experienced. This surgery is called an orchiectomy. The type your husband had is not an option for mine since it has perforated. The next few months will be intense. Would like to chat with you. Thanks for the info. Linda
Stay a while and browse I chat about all nature of things mainly quilting and embroidery, but also life around us the fields, the flowers and family
Copying things from my blog
I am quite happy for people to use anything that I publish on my blog, if you wish to copy that is just great by me, I would treat that as a compliment, if it goes to a good cause then that is a double bonus.
Me. I am 70 yrs young, I finally went to university when I was in my 40's and received my diploma the same year as my daughter received hers. So there was life in the old gal.
I have been a follower and followed my then husband around the world, he working and me..I had a wonderful time and would not have changed a thing the experiences are 100 fold, I really must get around to writing a book. We have lived in France, USA, UK, Spain, Kuwait, Jordan, Philippines, China, Bahrain, Dubai and NZ to name but a few.
My nomadic life began in 1977 when my then husband was offered a job in Kuwait / Dubai Our wanderings continued and finally we ended up again in Dubai in 2006/9.. 30yrs later, so life has been in a full circle.
Stitching and Quilting kept me sane in all these years and are now my best friends. 2013 now sees me at home in New Zealand with my children and grand children and my last move from these shores. Vacations apart of course.
