Today was spent at the races, not a passtime I normally follow
but in the Bay of Plenty the towns have all been celebrating
Summer Festival, with Race meetings at 4 different towns.
This is being done at low cost entrance so families can go.So off we went to Tauranga Races, 10 of us in all.
Now I came away only 12 dollars down even after 3 wins,

a few of us came home a little better off than when they left, a few others were down.
But my Great Nephew who is 11 was the winner with 40 dollars in his pocket,
he just had the knack of picking the winners it seemed.
The weather was just beautiful and the picnic lunch was lovely.
